Tido Visser has been Artistic Director of the Nederlands Kamerkoor since 2013. In this capacity he developed concepts with international appeal such as 150 Psalms, in which the psalms were placed in a contemporary context. This mega project took place as part of the Utrecht Early Music Festival, Klarafestival Brussels, the White Light Festival Lincoln Center in New York City and in the Adelaide Arts Festival. Vergeten, a musical journey through the head of a person living with dementia, also garnered international acclaim and was performed as part of the Hong Kong Arts Festival. It will be revived in 2026 in the United Kingdom and the United States.

As a director and dramaturg, he has developed projects including De Tranen van Petrus, an a cappella dance performance about shame, in collaboration with choreographer Nanine Linning, and the performance #uncut, a semi-autobiographical musical theatre piece about a trans woman, by composer Renske Vrolijk.
