Serge Vlerick (1972) is a deaf actor whose first encounter with the professional stage landscape came with his contribution to the production Wolf by Alain Platel (2002). Since then, his drive to become a professional actor has been unstoppable. He is dedicated to deaf awareness in various theatre houses such as Vooruit and NTGent. He has performed in and made youth theatre productions and acted in the performance Kukunor. As well as his stage appearances, Serge is a teacher of Flemish Sign Language for hearing and foreign language signers and provides signing for the news.
