Rahmat Emonds

Rahmat Emonds studied vocals and songwriting at BIMM London and PXL-music (Hasselt). She graduated in 2022. In 2021 she performed with Vermin Twins (full band) and joined When I Look at a Strawberry, I Think of a Tongue as a guest performer. This multidisciplinary performance had a beautiful continuation in Senegal (Dialaw festival). In addition to developing her own music as AMAEA, she performed during the 22/23 season with, among others, Stef Kamil Carlens & The Gates of Eden. Rahmat is currently touring with SKC & the Swoon and artist in residence at Rataplan. She’s always looking for unity through music and movement. Her goal is to bring herself and her surroundings that little bit closer to themselves through performing.
