Marthe Koning (b. 1996) is a hybrid performance artist who works both solo and collectively. Her work is characterised by a constant quest for new forms of expression and interdisciplinary collaboration, based on her frank and fearless voice.
Together with her sisters, she is part of the collective King Sisters, known from the performances Song of the Sisters (Best of Fringe Award 2018), Talking Songs (2020), and Rebuilding a Voice (2022).
In 2023 she presented her solo exhibition What Pessoa Taught Me with detheatermaker (BE): ‘a brave and unapologetic ode to freedom within.’- e-tcetera.
