Koen Monserez (1968) is a Flemish actor and director. He is most famous for his part in the Flemish soap series Thuis, which is broadcast daily on national television. In 1996, he graduated at the Royal Conservatoire of Brussels. He continued his training studying Schauspiel at the Hochschule der Künste in Berlin. As an actor, he often worked with the Ensemble Leporello, and for three years he was also the artistic and general director of this theatre company. Today he is a freelance actor, director, coach and drama teacher. He directed A Sleeping Elephant (2012) for KVS, a play about  boxing icon Muhammad Ali involving the collaboration of 20 young boxers from Brussels. He guest starred in many television productions including the series Heterdaad, Kinderen van Dewindt, Aspe, Witse, Flikken and Recht op Recht.
