Elisa Demarré gained a Master’s in Theatre Studies from Ghent University and a Master’s in Cultural Management from Antwerp University. Previously she worked as a producer for the alternative management bureau Hiros. Artists with whom she collaborated there include Christophe Meierhans (Some Use For Your Broken Clay Pots, Trials of Money, among others), Thomas Ryckewaert (Genesis, Golem) and Andros-Zins-Browne (The Middle Ages, Already Unmade, Atlas Revisited).
Since 2017 she has worked as a dramaturg with Pieter De Buysser, Eva De Groote & Ruben Nachtergaele, Eva Binon and Jason Dousselaere, Kevin Trappeniers, Kasper Vandenberghe, Oxana Sankova and the Antwerp theatre collective SKaGeN.
As well as a dramaturg, she is also a herbalist and poet.
